Westmount

Technically, Westmount is not a borough of Montreal, but rather a separate "suburban municipality", although it is located on the island (rather near the center) and is surrounded by propoper city boroughs (arrondissements).

Demographics-wise, Westmount is majority-anglophone, and affluent.

Westmount is not normally sub-divided into neighbourhoods, but it's easy to see there are two general areas - the area below rue Sherbrooke, with many multi-unit apartment buildings, and the area above it, at the foothills of Mont Royal, consisting mostly of private (detached and semi-attached) houses and what can be described as mansions.
