The municipality of Hampstead is almost completely composed of single family residences, except for the apartment buildings on Chemin Côte-St-Luc, and the duplexes and triplexes along MacDonald, Cleve, Dufferin, Heath, Holtham, Harrow and Aldred Roads. Hampstead was one of the areas which voted to de-merge from the city of Montréal after January 1, 2006. LINKS
