STAY AWAY 3440 Rue Durocher - Terrasses Embassy

I've been renting here for the last month and the management is terrible. The security guard is less helpful than a monkey, the building manager is inaccessible and every single employee of the building has been rude to me. You have to walk by these people everyday and it fills me with so much anger... and I'm a panzy!

I've been living at Terasse Embassy since July 2005 and never had any problems of some sort with them. The property manager, Anna Lisa, the janitors and both security agents have always been nice to me, greeting me when I come in our out of the building, fixing broken stuff in my apartment when necessary and kicking out people going from door-to-door when I asked them to.

I'm still wondering if this building is STILL infested with bed bugs and roaches... I walked by it the other day and it looks like it has been given a bit of a facelift... I would have warned people but my curiousity has been piqued and now I'm thinking if this would be a good place for my teenager, the McGill student, to move into... can anyone tell me if this building has been finally cleaned???

I love this building! Yes-it is very, very clean actually and super nice management! I have lived in 6 apartment buildings ranging from one on Peel, one on Crescent Street and a few in the McGill Ghetto. So far, this building has the best management. If there is any problem they fix it right away and the place is spotless. Better than all the others and way cheaper rent![b]

I wonder if the person posting this isn't part of the building management since they have just joined. I'd like to hear from others who have stayed there but for now I will keep away from it.

Hi, Oh no, I was thinking of renting in this building. I'm looking for a 3.5, but am not in Montreal, so I'm basing everything on what I find online. Are there any buildings that are within a 20mins walking range that you would recommend (no bugs or roaches)? I would prefer a unit with a balcony and parking. Thx
