Apartment recommendation Needed!

Hi,

I am looking for an apartment in downtown Montreal close to a subway station. I am currently located in Toronto so it is difficult for me to go to the different buildings and look for a place fully by myself. I am looking for a 1 bedroom apartment for under $1100 per month. I am a young female so a safer area would be highly preferred. As well, a pool would be nice, but is not a necessity. A newly renovated place would also be better.

I have found a few places through websites which I would appreciate input on, as well as any other suggestions of places.
