Giant hole at St-Antoine Ouest

Can somebody finally explain when the giant hole on St-Antoine and St-Pierre is going to start getting filled with anything ? I think it's been more than a year...

Not sure. The sign says it's going to be a Westin Hotel (no dates are given).

I have a theory that the delays are related to project changes - at least I've seen a couple different renderings of the final buildings - may be they've run into some hurdles with municipal approvals or something...

In the meantime, the pit is indeed there gradually becoming something of a local landmark - today, I saw five tourists crossing the street to take a better look and some were obviously intrigued enough to be taking pictures.
