Most buildings in the area are low-rise (3-5 floors), although some are relatively large.

One of the contentious points for the neighbourhood is redevelopment of Benny Farms - a housing complex owned by the federal government which used to house war veterans. It has been vacant for some time and has become somewhat of an eyesore for the area. There are plans for rebuilding the complex as co-op housing.

  A mid-rise elevator building offering a pool and laundry facilities.

  A 1960s mid-rise elevator building offering laundry facilities.
