Montreal Bits » News
The Gazette is reporting that change might finally be afoot on the site of Downtown's most visibly underutilized space, a gigantic parking lot sitting on the southern side of the Boulevard René-Lévesque between Lucien l'Allier and Mackay streets. * * * The owner of the centrally located lot, a numbered company linked to the Montreal developer (and gallery owner) Robert Landau, is reportedly in discussions about selling the land, which could finally open a way to its development. The lot has been in the present state for over twenty years, after the Victorian homes that had previously occupied it were demolished in the 1980's.Sources and Links
