La Presse shares some details (Fr) of the proposed transformation of
Griffintown.
In short, they come down to:
- Making Rue Peel the main commercial artery (with enlarged sidewalks) linking Griffintown with Centre-Ville.
- Building tramway tracks (this is a major part of the project)
- Making Rue Wellington a six-lane boulevard (between Murray and Ann)
- Making Rue Olier a pedestrian street
