Debates continue to rage on the merits (and faults) of Devimco's Griffintown redevelopment proposal. In yesterday's Gazette, Henry Aubin argues that by acquiescing to the developer's wishes, the city would be ignoring its own master development plan... * * * To prove the point, Mr. Aubin points out that the plan, developed in 2005, would limit new construction in the area to six stories and tentative approval of Devimco's project (which includes buildings as high as 22 stories) clearly contradicts it.
